Self-esteem and healthy relationships workshops
Children and Young People Workshops
We offer whole-class or small-group workshops delivered over six weekly sessions in schools and youth settings, designed to provide a safe, trauma-informed environment where safeguarding and wellbeing are prioritised.
1 – Self-Esteem:
Six interactive workshops focused on building self-esteem by exploring respect, worth, strength, uniqueness, and purpose. Participants are guided on a journey to better understand their value, strengths, and potential, regardless of cultural, educational, or socio-economic background.
2 – Relationships:
Six age-appropriate workshops on healthy and unhealthy relationships, including setting boundaries, understanding what positive relationships need, societal and gender roles, abuse, grooming, and safeguarding against child sexual exploitation (CSE) and child criminal exploitation (CCE). Activities are designed to increase awareness and equip participants with practical skills to identify and respond to risky situations.
Who runs the workshops?
Siobhan has been part of Alumah since early 2023 and now leads initiatives for children and young people. She is passionate about empowering youth to understand and embrace healthy relationships, fostering resilience and confidence. Her trauma-informed approach ensures that young people feel safe, valued, and supported, equipped with the knowledge and skills to positively shape their futures.
Is this just for schools?
Primarily delivered in schools, but workshops can also be delivered in any youth setting or at our Brandon office. The programme is suitable for young people aged 12–20 years, offering flexible, accessible support wherever it is needed.
