Services

We provide a range of services for those who have experienced domestic abuse.

Counselling

Counselling at Alumah is a trauma-focused, integrative therapy that helps individuals process the emotional impact of trauma or abuse. It provides a safe space to be heard, understand feelings and thought patterns, and explore solutions to challenges. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of each person, whether child, young person, or adult. Counselling is offered on a sliding scale, typically £35–£50 per session, and our standard programme runs for 8 weeks.

Risk Assessment and Safeguarding: To ensure the safety of our clients, we carry out thorough risk assessments when needed. We use DASH forms as part of our process to identify and respond to risks of domestic abuse, stalking, and harassment (all staff are trained to use this tool). This helps us create tailored safety plans and connect clients with additional specialist support when required.
