Phoebes Room
A one-off morning or afternoon workshop about grooming. However, this can lead to a short course of more in-depth about how grooming works. Videos, worksheets, and discussion. This is great for year 6 upwards as this is when the perpetrators will look for victims.
Phoebe’s Room is a good insight for professionals and parents of children too.
Who runs Phoebe's Room?
Siobhan, our children’s worker, runs these workshops. She holds an NVQ in teaching and supporting children, Mental Health First Aid, Suidice First Aid, Level 2 in Youth Work. She has experience in working in schools since 2006, and has worked in the children’s operating theatre. She has been with Alumah for 5 years.
We can attend your organisation and run this through a team meeting, or at schools, colleges, universities. We also offer this for parents and professionals, anybody who wants to learn about grooming.
